This has been out for a couple months, but I am just getting around to blogging about it now (2012 has been like that): The ebook version of SHIRTLIFTER #3 is now available. I took advantage of the fact that ebooks have no page restrictions to revise the layout, inserting some previously deleted panels and expanding others that had been cropped to fit the page. Consider this the “Extended Dance Remix Version”, 119 pages instead of 92.
If you download it, or if you have read the paper version, please click on the above link and rate the book for iTunes. We live in the age of mediated consumer confidence.
I’ll be exhibiting at this years Alternative Press expo in San Francisco for the first time since 2008. I’ll be sharing a table with Justin Hall – 835 – and will be on the gay comics panel on Saturday afternoon at 2:45. Drop by and say hi if you are in the Bay Area.

The ebook version of SHIRTLIFTER #2 is finally available. Click the link to preview/purchase in ITunes.
SHIRTLIFTER #1 is also still available. #3 and #4 should be out in the next few months.
If you have read #1 and #2, I’d appreciate it if you could click through the links, opening them in ITunes, and rate each issue; ratings help with attracting new readers.
There is finally a new SHIRTLIFTER T-shirt, with a picture of Matt, um….lifting his shirt, literally. Comes in S – XXXL. $20 plus shipping. International customers, please email me directly for shipping estimate.
I’m happy to announce that Northwest Press are going to be publishing the digital editions of SHIRTLIFTER. We’ll be rolling out all 4 issues over the next couple months. The first issue is already up and available through iTunes, with #2 to follow in the next couple of weeks. I’ve had many requests for digital versions from international customers in particular, so….now it’s up. Anything people can do to help get the word out would be appreciated.

Alan Part 2 – another recent commission.
If you’ve visited the site in the last couple days you may have noticed that it was flagged by Google as dangerous. I hadn’t updated WordPress in a while and so the site was infected by some Malware. I’ve updated my WordPress and cleansed the malicious files, so things are back to normal here. Sorry for any trouble it may have caused – hopefully no one got infected.
I spent the day close to home because I hurt my leg — gave me a chance to work on this labor intensive panel from a new auto-bio comic I am working on.
I have been on a bit of a drawing hiatus the last while; my work habits have been inconsistent to say the least. But I though I have not been consitent, I HAVE been working, and though I haven’t been finishing much, I’ve been ALMOST finishing a fair number of pages, as you can see from the above image – not done, but closer to done than to not done.
All of this is to say that I am working on #5, and though I don’t know when it will be out, I do have it all mapped out and a lot of it partly done. Hopefully things will coalesce by the end of the year. In the meantime, I’m going to try and be a bit less internet invisible for the next little while, and even use it to play some video games with the different characters in Overwatch by learning to use them with guides online.
